Day 34--Holed up in Jackson Hole

Well, we are still in Jackson. When I woke up this morning, Derik said, "You're not going to like the weather." This is what was happening.

Oh the weather outside is frightful!

We paid for another night. The issue was not so much the snow, but, as the desk clerk said, 50% of the people in Jackson (i.e. tourists) have never seen snow, nor have they driven in it. Probably not the best idea to be out on the highway... 

As for the day, I walked all over looking for AA batteries for my toothbrush. Finally found some at High Country Outfitters. The most expensive batteries I've ever bought!

It's nearly 6:00pm now, and there is sun. The forecast isn't great for tomorrow, but our fingers are crossed! The thing is, if we can just get out of Jackson, and closer to Pinedale, we should be able to get out of this weather. We shall see...
